1 Press the PROG. button on the VCR.
The programming display will appear on the FL display.
If the clock is not set, the clock display will appear. In this
case set the clock and press the PROG. button again.

y) Select a programme number (1-4) with the PROG.
button.
The programme selected will stop flashing.
3 Press the OK button. (DO NOT hold the button down
as this will cancel all the data).
The start time hour position will start flashing.

Press the PROG. button to set the start time hour.
Each time the button is pressed the hour will increase. If
the button is held down the hours will change faster.
5 Press the OK button.
The start time minute display wiil start flashing.
6 Press the PROG. button to enter the start time
minutes.
When the button is held down the minutes will increase
at 10 minute intervals.
7 Press the OK button.
The stop time hour display will start flashing.
8 Press the PROG. button to enter the stop time hour.

The stop time minute display will start flashing.
| 0 Press the PROG. button to set the stop time minutes.
| Press the OK button.
The Day (D), Month (M) and channel (PS) display will ap-
pear. The day position will be flashing.
Press the PROG. button to enter the day. Or select
E-MON etc. or MON-FRI/MON-SUN.
Keep pressing the button and the date will increase and
then change to E-MON, E-TUE etc. and then MON-FRI/
MON-SUN. This will repeat cyclically if you keep press-
ing the button.

The month display will appear.
1 4 Press the PROG. button to set the month.
1 Press the OK button.
The PS (Pre Set TV channel) display will flash.
| Press the PROG. button to enter the number of the
channel that you want to record.

To continue programming, press the PROG. button until
a blank programme appears on the FL display and then
repeat steps 2-17. :
Press the TIMER button.
If a tape with the recording defeat tab removed is in-
serted, the tape will be ejected.
If a tape is not loaded, the VCR will not enter the timer
mode and will return to the normal mode. In this case,
load a tape and press the TIMER button again.

Note:
@ During programming, you can change any of the data with
the remote control’s <, >, “\or Vv buttons (</> to goto
the data and “\/v/ to change the data).
