ATC LOCK-OUT CIRCUIT
ATC lock-out circuit
ADVICE
For flawless operation of the ATC in the case of caravans with independent 12 V power supply
(e.g. on-board battery, autonomous battery pack), a lock-out circuit must be installed between
the distributor box of the caravan and the ATC.

OPERATION
Before the trip
1. Couple caravan or trailer.
2. Insert 13 pole trailer cable on the towing vehicle.
3. Check ATC LED
ATC starts a self test – LED shines red for approx. 3 seconds.
LED switches to green, car and trailer is now ready to drive.
4. Check caravan lighting.

Display Status Explanation
Green ATC active Ready
Flashing green ATC self-test
Ready. The self-test is termina-
ted when driving starts (see also
"Fault rectification").
Red ATC inactive
Fault. You can continue driving
without problems. Follow instruc-
tions in "Fault rectification"
Serious fault. ATC can brake con-
tinuously. Stop driving immedia-
tely! Follow instructions in "Fault
rectification".
Flashing red ATC stopped
Off ATC deenergised
ATC is deenergised or defective
(see also "Fault rectification").
