What to do if AL-KO PROFI AK 351 Automobile Accessories coupling doesn't click into place?

  If the AL-KO automobile accessories coupling doesn't click into place after being laid on the tow bar, it could be due to several reasons. First, the ball diameter might be greater than Ø50mm, in which case you should have the tow ball changed. Second, there might be insufficient drawbar load; try pressing the ball coupling downwards manually. Third, the interior parts of the coupling could be soiled; clean and grease the coupling, replacing it if necessary. Finally, check for ice and snow.

  Excessive play between the AL-KO automobile accessories coupling and tow ball can occur for a few reasons. The ball coupling might be worn, requiring replacement. The swivel range may have been exceeded. Also, a rivet might be bent, in which case you should visit a specialist workshop.
