OPERATION and SHUT DOWN
Please read operation, use and maintenance manuals before start up for economic
and safe use. Wrong operation can cause a fire or explosion which may result
property damage, personnel injury, or loss of life.
Preliminary Checks Before Operating
Before operating, smell all around the appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell
next to the floor because some gas is heavier then the air and will settle on the
floor.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS OR INSPECT FUEL LEAKAGE
x Do not light any appliance.
x Do not touch any electric item.
x Do not smoke.
x Shut of the fuel valve from the main inlet to the building.
x Do not use any phone in your building.
x Immediately call your local authority from neighbor’s phone.
x Check the system water level or pressure.
x Check the ventilation openings are free from obstacles.
x Check any leakage point on fuel or water lines.
x Check the valve positions and be sure that all the water circulation
valves are open.
x Check all the cleaning and servicing parts are securely closed
and tight.
x Check the presence of any kind of inflammable substance in
boiler room.
