Quick guide
All features are described. The label displayed on the phone depends on the type of phone. This guide provides the labels for 8001 /8001G phones
Answer a call
>Take the handset off the hook, use the hands-free key, or press the “Ans”
softkey
Ignore call/End the call
>Hang up the handset, or press the “End” softkey
Redial
>Press to access the list of the last 100 dialed numbers and press
to call the dialed number
>Or press the “Log” softkey and choose the dialed number to dial
Place a call on hold (hold)
>Press the Hold key to hold
>Or press the “Hold” softkey to hold
Sending DTMF signals
>Enter numbers directly (activated by default)
Mute
>Press the mute key during a conversation
Make a second call during a conversation
>Press the line key to make a second call
Answer a second call during a conversation
>Press the softkey ANS to answering the incoming call
ANS
Switch between calls (Broker call)
>Press the UP & DOWN navigation key to switch the call
Transfer a call
>You are in conversation with one caller
>Press the softkey XFER to call a second contact
>Transfer the call
Conference
>Call the first contact
>Press the softkey CONF or Conference key to call a second
contact

Forward a call
>Menu >>Function Settings >>Forwarded calls
>Choosing the forward mode
>Set the forward to a number

Cancel forward
>Menu >>Function Settings >>Forwarded calls
>Choosing the forward mode
>Select "Disable" and save it to cancel forward

Do not disturb
>Press the softkey DND to enable/disable this funtion or go to
>Menu >>Function Settings >>DND
>Select account 1 or 2 and select enable/disable
DND
Adjust audio volume
Use the hardkey "+/-" to adjust audio volume in
standby mode or conversation mode
Select the language of your choice
>Menu >>System Settings >>Phone Settings

Voice Mail
Adjusting screen contrast
>Menu >>System Settings >>Phone Settings >>LCD Settings
>>Contrast
Choose the ring tone
>Menu >>System Settings >>Phone Settings >>Ring Type

Lock/unlock the phone
>Menu >>System Settings >>Advanced Settings >>Keypad Lock
>Set Lock mode “Lock all/Lock Menu/Lock Function/Lock and
Autoanswer/Disable” to enable or disable the lock function
Tip: By default unlock password is the same as the advanced
settings password
