Changing oil
• Check the oil at least once a year; if dirt or foreign objects
are noticed, change the oil�
• If using the car jack regularly, the oil should be checked
regularly�
1� Fully release the car jack and ensure that the release valve

is turned clockwise, then lift the cover plate

2� Carefully lift and with a screwdriver, remove the oil filler plug

of the oil reservoir

3� Stand the car jack up so that the used oil runs out of the oil
reservoir, then dispose of the oil in accordance with local
regulations�
4� Clean spilled oil from the car jack�
5� Whilst the car jack is standing, add the recommended oil
(see the “Technical details” section), so that the reservoir
piston is covered�
6� Clean the oil filler plug and replace it in the oil reservoir
ensuring that it is firmly back in its place�
