Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix yourself. To
do so, follow the instructions in the following table.
If it is still not possible to resolve the problem with the multifunctional tool,
contact After Sales Support.
Problem Possible cause Solution
1. The multifunction-
tool cannot be
switched on.
The socket has no
power.
Check the socket by
connecting another device.
The mains plug
has not been inserted
properly.
Check to make sure that
the mains plug is properly
seated.
The mains plug has not
been inserted in the
socket.
Insert the mains plug in a
socket.
The On/Off switch

is stuck.
Keep the On/Off switch clean
as described in the chapter
Cleaning and maintenance”.
The mains plug/On/Off
switch is defective.
Contact the After Sales
Support of the manufacturer.
There is dirt, wood
chips or other objects
located in the gap of
the tool holder.
Pull the mains plug out of
the socket and clean the
gap of the tool holder with a
vacuum cleaner if necessary.
2. The tool holder
does not move after
switching on the
multifunctiontool.
The multifunctional tool
is defective.
Contact the After Sales
Support of the manufacturer.
3. The oscillation/
speed can not
be increased or
decreased.
The speed control

If necessary, clean the speed
control and the gap with a
vacuum cleaner.
