Setting the time
− Switch the device to standby mode and press the CLOCK button. The hour dis-
play fl ashes.
− Press the or buttons to set the hour.
− Confi rm with the CLOCK button.
− The minute display fl ashes. Press the or buttons to set the minutes.
− Confi rm with the CLOCK button.
− The day display fl ashes. Press the or buttons to set the day (d-1 = Monday,
d-2= Tuesday etc.).
− Confi rm with the CLOCK button.
The time is displayed in standby mode.
Display lighting
In standby mode, the display lighting is activated for approx. 10 seconds if you press
the button or operate the device.
The brightness of the display can be set to 3 levels. Press the DIMMER button re-
peatedly to set the required brightness. The display lighting can also be switched off
completely.
Radio
The radio can receive both FM and AM signals.
− Press the FUNC button repeatedly to switch to radio mode. The radio symbol
appears on the display as well as the frequency band the radio is set to:
• FM: Ultra-short wave frequencies
• AM: Medium wave frequencies
Tuning the stations
− The top of the device is fi tted with a telescopic aerial. Fully extend the aerial and
turn or swivel it for optimum radio reception. The aerial is only needed for radio
stations in the FM frequency band.
− Turn the TUNING control to set a particular frequency.
Hold down one of the or buttons to automatically search for the next
station.
