9. Safety and protective equipment
– When wet vacuuming, the floating safety switch (Fig. 6a - item
5
) closes when the maximum tank level is reached. At the
same time, the suction noise of the equipment will change and
become louder. You must then switch off the equipment and
empty the tank.
– Unforeseen static electricity may build up whilst using this
vacuum cleaner, which may pass a static electric shock to the
user. There is a piece of chain (Fig. 6b - item
Z
) on the bottom
of the tank base to help prevent static build-up during use.

CAUTION!
– Do not remove the piece of chain (Fig. 6b - item
Z
) which is on
the bottom of the tank base as it is there to help prevent static
build-up during use.
If the piece of chain is missing, or if it wears away, then contact
the After Sales Support line concerning obtaining a new piece of
chain.
