Setting the Conguration Menu
Before using your Alere Cholestech LDX
®
Analyzer, you should
enter the Conguration Menu and set it to best meet your needs.
The following items can be customized:
Language English, Italian, Spanish, German, French
Units mg/dL=milligrams per deciliter
mmol/L=millimoles per liter
NOTE: U/L (units per liter) and mg/L (milligrams
per liter) will be reported when the Conguration
Menu is set for either UNITS=mg/dL or
UNITS=mmol/L.
Sample Whole B.=Venous or capillary whole blood
Serum=Serum or plasma, calibration verication
or prociency testing material
NOTE: Check the package insert for the test
cassette you are using to determine the correct
SAMPLE mode when testing quality control or
calibration verication material.
LDL/HDL ratio No = LDL/HDL function turned off, TC/HDL
function turned on
Yes = LDL/HDL function turned on, TC/HDL
