Additional maintenance recommendations
Internal parts in the drive unit are preserved for storage up to six months from delivery.
Before use:
• The drive unit must be filled with oil
• Grease gears
• Preserve internals, parts which is not covered by oil due to condensation
See recommended oils, greases and preservers below.
Every two months or before each cleaning, whichever comes first:
• Loosen drain plug and check for the presence of water, drain if necessary.
• Check oil level.
• Check greasing of gears
• Check preserver
Replenish as necessary.
Complete drainage and oil change is recommended every 18 months. A vertically mounted machine requires
3.5 litres of oil for a full oil change. If the machine is tilted, less oil is required. See page 31 and 32 for oil level.
