The LCN Benchmark Automatic Operators are electromechanical devices designed primarily for automatic door opening applications that may also require occasional manual opening. These self-contained units integrate all electrical functions within a control box, making them suitable for both single and double leaf doors. The system combines all control and power elements into a single operator package, requiring only a few actuators to complete the setup. These low-energy operators are electrically powered and provide easy access, particularly benefiting individuals with disabilities, the elderly, or the frail.
The LCN operators facilitate automatic door opening and closing. The system is designed to open a door from full close to backcheck in no more than 3 seconds. It supports both pull-side and push-side mounting configurations. The 9130 Pull operator is designed for single doors, surface-mounted with offset pivot/butt hinges, and is shipped with a motor gearbox, control box, mounting plate, standard arm, metal cover, standard track, and necessary screws. The 9140 Push operator is also for single doors, surface-mounted with offset pivot/butt hinges, and includes the same components as the 9130 series. Both models allow for a maximum power opening of 90 degrees and a manual opening of 90 degrees. The opening and closing times are variable and can be adjusted via the electronic control module within the operator assembly. The maximum hold open time is adjustable, up to approximately 30 seconds for the 9140 push operator. A "Push-'n-go" feature permits non-switch activation, allowing the door to open with a gentle push.
