REPLACING FADERS
The XFADER and main channel faders on a DJ mixer are heavily used and can suffer considerable wear and tear.
The audio design using VCAs prevents clicks and scratchiness as the fader wears. Over time, however, the me-
chanical movement may become stiff, or sloppy, or ingrained with dirt. Intermittent or noisy operation is also an
indication of faders becoming worn. Should this be the case the fader may need replacement.
DO NOT use propriety fader cleaners on new faders as this can displace factory applied finishes.
The XONE:96 XFADER and four main stereo Channel 1-4 faders can be easily replaced as follows:

Ensure that the power switch on the rear panel is set OFF and that IEC mains cable is disconnected from the AC
mains supply BEFORE opening the unit.
Have a clean flat work surface ready before starting work.
Ensure erroneous objects, such as cover screws etc. do not fall into the chassis or through louvres during disas-
sembly, and check to make sure none are loose inside the unit BEFORE reassembling.
Tools you will need:
• T8 TORX screwdriver
• PZ0 POZI (cross-head) screwdriver
• Long Nosed pliers (optional)
• A small container for retaining screws
To replace Faders
