Configuring the
IP Address,
Subnet Mask, and
Gateway Address
To configure the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address or to
activate the DHCP client software, perform the following procedure:
1. From the desktop, right-click the My Network Places icon and select
Properties from the menu, as shown in Figure 51.
