The solution
The solution was built from the ground up using Allied Telesis
switches with 802.1x port authentication. At the core, the
SwitchBlade Layer 3 chassis switch offers the school a network
solution that can scale as the school changes. It provides feature
rich, resilient switching technology capable of dealing with multi-
casting (for streaming video), network control, and security.
A second SwitchBlade will be added soon with a 10Gbps
backbone connection between the two core switches. This will
provide the school with maximum switching capacity and data
transfer for advanced high-density applications.
