SEEK
TUNING
The
radio
does
not
operate
in
the
tape
play
mode.
To
listen
to
the
radio,
press
the
TUNER
BAND
switch
@.

on
the
power
by
turning
the
Power
On/OFF
switch
@
clockwise.
Continue
to
rotate
it
until
the
desired
volume
level
is
reached.
Press
the
TUNER
BAND
switch
@
to
activate
the
radio
mode.
Press
TUNER
BAND
switch
for
reception
of
MW,
LW,
or
FM
(FM1
or
FM2).
The
radio
BAND
Indicator
@
will
be
on,
and
the
ST
[stereo]
indicator
@
will
also
be
on
during
FM
stereo
reception.
Adjust
BASS
@,
TREBle
@,
BALance
@,
and
FADer
®
controls
to
their
centre
positions.
To
automatically
tune,
press
the
TUNE
switch
@
until
the
SEEK
indicator
®
is
displayed.
Press
the
UP
or
DN
tuning
switch
and
the
frequency
changes
to
the
next
receivable
station.
Repeat
the
procedure
until
your
desired
station
is
obtained.
When
the
radio
reaches
the
upper
or
lower
end
of
the
band,
it
automatically
starts
scanning
from
the
opposite
end.
To
return
to
manual
tuning,
press
the
TUNE
switch
again,
the
SEEK
indicator
disappears
and
the
TUNE
indicator
lights
up.
To
manually
tune,
press
the
Tuning
Switch
(UP)
@
for
higher
frequency
broadcasts,
and
press
the
Tuning
Switch
(DN)
@
for
lower
frequency
broadcasts.

VOLume
@,
BASS
@,
TREBle
©,
BALance
@,
and
FADer
,
to
suit
your
listening
preference.
To
switch
from
FM
to
MW
(or
LW)
or
vice
versa
press
the
TUNER
BAND
select
switch
@®.
Memory

Select
FM1,
FM2,
MW
or
LW
by
pressing
the
TUNER
BAND
select
switch
@.
Select
a
station
manually
or
by
SEEK
tuning.
Press
and
hold
a
Station
Preset
switch
for
more
than
2
seconds
to
preset
the
station
in
MEMORY.
The
station
display
blinks
for
5
seconds
indicating
that
the
station
can
be
stored
into
the
preset
memory.
Press
the
Station
Preset
button
for
a
second
time
while
the
station
display
is
blinking.
Now,
the
station
is
stored
into
the
preset
memory.
Press
one
of
the
unused
Station
Preset
switches
@
each
time.
Note:
For
the
D.A.P.
band
you
can
preset
up
to
6
MW,
LW
and
FM
stations
eed:
Press
the
TUNER
BAND
select
switch
@
to
preset
six
stations
on
another
band.

5,
and
6.
Remember,
there
are
altogether
five
(FM1,
FM2,
MW,
LW
and
D.A.P.)
bands.
To
select
a
frequency
programmed
into
memory,
press
the
desired
station
preset
switch,
1
through
6.
If
the
radio
is
set
to
MW,
you'll
receive
an
MW
frequency.
If
in
the
FM
mode,
you'll
receive
an
FM
station.
When
you
select
one
of
the
six
presets,
an
orange
dot
will
light
up
in
the
upper
right
hand
corner
of
that
preset
button.
This
is
the
direct
preset
indicator.
