iPod is selected on the setup main menu in step 2.
Setting Artwork Download (Artwork Display)
Download artwork in an iPod, and set whether artwork is displayed or
not. Set when you use a First generation iPod classic, First generation
iPod touch, First generation/ Second generation /Third generation iPod
nano, Fifth generation iPod.
Setting Artwork Type (Artwork Type)
You can set the downloaded artwork type.
iPod Search Mode Setting
The unit allows you to search for the iPod using eight different search
modes.
When the search mode is in Playlists/Artists/Albums/Podcasts/
Audiobooks, the initial setting is On, and when the search mode is in
Genres/Composers/Songs, the initial setting is Off.
• For search mode details, refer to “Searching for a desired Song/
Title” (page 7).

Artwork Display Auto (Initial setting) / Artwork Display Manual
Auto : During playback, downloads artwork automatically.
Manual : Download artwork manually.
Artwork Type Album (Initial setting) / Artwork Type Song
Album : Displays album artwork if a song contains the same
album, artwork of the first song played back is
displayed for all songs.
Song : Downloads artwork for every song, and display.
On / Off
