 e remote commander contains a coin/ button cell battery. If the coin/
button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in

may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek
immediate medical attention.

Installation of Remote Control Holder
Do not leave the remote control mounted on the holder, if it is direct
sunlight. Remove the remote control from the holder and put it in the
glove compartment.
If double-sided adhesive tape cannot install the holder securely, use
screws.
When mounted to the Audio/Video Receiver, do not press the unit
hard to operate it. The Audio/Video Receiver may be damaged.

Function Description:

The RUE-BK01A serves as a wireless interface for controlling key features of the Alpine Audio/Video Receiver. Its primary functions include:

• Volume Control: Turning the Rotary Knob allows users to adjust the volume of the audio system up or down.
• Camera Screen Display: Pressing the Rotary Knob toggles the display between front and rear camera views, if present and connected to the receiver.
• Camera Screen Display Off: Pressing and holding the Rotary Knob turns off the camera screen display.

Usage Features:

The RUE-BK01A is designed for ease of use and integration with the Alpine Audio/Video Receiver.

• Connection Process:
  1. Insert the CR2032 battery into the RUE-BK01A, ensuring correct polarity (positive side up). The LED indicator will flash, signifying it's in connection stand-by mode. If the LED turns off, press the Rotary Knob to restart flashing.
  2. On the Audio/Video Receiver, navigate to [Setup] -> [Device] -> [Device List].
  3. Select [Add New Device].
  4. Choose [ALPINE KNOB] from the list of available devices.
  5. Confirm the connection by selecting [YES] when prompted on the receiver screen.
• Automatic Reconnection: If the Audio/Video Receiver is turned off for a period, the RUE-BK01A will disconnect. It will automatically reconnect when the receiver is turned on and the Rotary Knob is operated. Note that reconnection may take some time in certain situations.
• LED Indicator: An LED on the unit illuminates when it is connected or being operated, providing visual feedback to the user.
• Rotary Knob: The central knob serves as the primary control interface for volume adjustment and camera display toggling.
