If a disc containing both a compressed video file and a compressed
audio file is used, you have a choose to play back only a video or only
audio.
Setting item: DISC PLAY MODE
Setting contents: VIDEO / AUDIO
When using discs containing both audio data and MP3/WMA/AAC
data.
Setting item: PLAY MODE
Setting content: CD / CMPM
If a disc is inserted, remove it from this unit before setting.
When an MP3-compatible CD changer is used, this setting cannot be
applied.
Setting item: DivX Information
If [ ] of DivX Information is touched, a DivX
®
file
registered code is displayed.
When playing a Playback Control (PBC) enabled Video CD, you can
choose to set PBC ON or OFF.
Setting item: PBC
Setting contents: ON / OFF
Digital SEEK Setting (HD Radio mode
only)
After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of “To display the General mode
screen” explained on page 35, perform the operation described below.

Touch [SETUP] on the main source screen.
The SETUP selection screen is displayed.

Touch [] of SOURCE.
The SOURCE SETUP screen appears.

Touch [] of RADIO.
The RADIO setup screen appears.

Touch [] or [] of DIGITAL SEEK to toggle
between ON and OFF.
Setting the compressed File Playback Data
VIDEO: only VIDEO data is played back.
AUDIO: only AUDIO data is played back.
Playing MP3/WMA/AAC Data
CD: Plays only the audio data on discs containing both audio
data and MP3/WMA/AAC data.
CMPM: Plays only the MP3/WMA/AAC files on discs containing
both audio data and MP3/WMA/AAC data.
Displaying DivX
®
Disc Information
Setting the Video CD Play Mode
ON: The PBC menu is displayed.
OFF: The PBC menu is not displayed.
RADIO Setup
ON: SEEK UP/DOWN is used only for the digital radio station.
OFF: SEEK UP/DOWN is used for DIGITAL and ANALOG radio
stations. However, the strong signals have priority during
SEEK.
