PLUG IN YOUR DEVICE
 Plug the included power adapter into the Device and then into a power outlet.
 Wait until the device boots up.
DOWNLOAD THE COMPANION APP
 Download the Alexa App to your iOS or Android tablet or phone
 The Alexa companion App registers the device to an access point for internet access for digital
media streaming for audio sources.
SETUP DEVICE
 Your device should automatically go into setup mode when fully powered yellow or hold the
action button. (Button on top side with small dot)
 To connect your Device to the internet and add device from the Alexa App menu
 During setup, you will connect your Device to the internet so make sure you have your Wi-Fi
password.
Playing Music
 Music can be streamed to the device via Bluetooth by stating the voice command: “Alexa pair
my bluetooth” and following the verbal instructions.
 Music can be streamed from the internet by stating the voice command: “Alexa Play Music”
Talking to Echo Plus:
 “Alexa” is the word you say to get Echo’s attention. Say this “wake word” and then tell Echo
what you want to do. Alexa is the voice assistant which uses far field voice recognition to
