  If there is excess amp draw on the motor of your Amcot Industrial Equipment, check the fan pitch and adjust it so the amp draw is at or slightly below the nameplate amperage. Air restrictions, such as a fill blockage, can cause increased fan loading and amp draw, so replace the fill. Line voltage fluctuations can also be a factor, so call an electrician to test/monitor the line voltage. Finally, a failing motor bearing can cause this issue, so replace the motor if necessary.

  To prevent excess drift loss in your Amcot Industrial Equipment, check the sprinkler head and arms for proper water flow and rotation speed, as a water distribution malfunction could be the cause. Also, inspect the fill media for blockage and clean or replace it if necessary. Too much circulating water can lead to excess drift, so check the water flow to the tower and adjust with external valves. Lastly, too much airflow through the unit can contribute, so check the fan pitch and lower the blade angle to reduce airflow.
