Getting Started
Before you begin installing your new AMD Radeon™ R7 360 graphics card (P/N: 102-
C766xx-xx), please make sure you have the proper system requirements and have
completed the required preinstallation tasks as outlined in this chapter.
1.1 System Requirements
1.1.1 Requirements for Single-card Installations
Minimum requirements for installing a single AMD Radeon™ R7 360 graphics card:
PCI Express® based PC with one ×16 lane graphics slot available on the
motherboard. For PCIe® 3.0 capabilities, a PCIe 3.0 compliant motherboard is
required.
500-watt or better power supply with one 6-pin PCIe power connector.
For a list of AMD-recommended power supplies, see support.amd.com/us/
certified/power-supplies/Pages/listing.aspx.
4 GB of system memory.
64-bit Windows® 10, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 7, or Linux® operating system. A
Windows operating system is recommended for full feature functionality.
A CD-ROM drive, keyboard, mouse, and display are required for software
installation.
A DVD drive is required for DVD playback.
A Blu-ray drive and Blu-ray disc are required for Blu-ray playback.
1.1.2 Requirements for AMD CrossFire™ Technology
A second AMD Radeon™ R7 360 graphics card can be installed in a AMD CrossFire™
configuration for added graphics performance and power. For more information, see
Chapter 4 AMD CrossFire Technology (p. 11).
Minimum requirements for installing an additional graphics card for
AMD CrossFire configuration:
A second AMD Radeon™ R7 360 graphics card.
AMD CrossFire certified motherboard. For a list of AMD-recommended
motherboards, see support.amd.com/us/certified/Pages/certified-
components.aspx.
