Remove factory nuts
Install bracket to truck Torque nuts
to 59 ft-lbs / 80Nm
Insert threaded bracket (19-03963-90) into bum-
per and assemble bracket (19-03961-90) with
supplied bolt. Use slotted end of bracket at
bolt.

Initial Bracket Installation Steps

Torque Nuts for Bracket Installation

Install bracket to truck, torquing nuts to 59 ft-lbs / 80Nm.

Assemble Bumper Bracket

Mount Upper Bed Panel Bracket

Install bracket to upper bed panel, torquing bolts to 16 ft-lbs / 22Nm.

Install and Torque Step Pad Screws

Install step pad, offsetting it rearward and torquing screws to 5 ft-lbs / 6Nm.

Overtightening Warning for Step Pad

Caution against overtightening screws to prevent damage to the step pad.
