Radio installation guide :
Power supply :
> Avoid taking the 12V source from a line exposed to
interference (ventilation, ashing light).
Connector :
> We recommend congurations with as few couplings as
possible (connect the aerial directly to the radio).
Location :
> The chassis must not be close to a power source, electric
harnesses, motors, relays, etc.

Operating environment :
The weaker the emitter’s signal, the higher the level of interference
with the signal emitted by the radio station.
Flashing light :
> We recommend quality and ltered ashing lights.
> Certain makes emit so much interference, that even with a
perfect conguration, the radio only picks up the interference.
In this case, the ashing light(s) form a genuine radio wave
barrier.
> This problem can be limited by using an aerial that is
higher that the ashing lights by at least 60 cm.
> Filter the ashing light.
> See Aerial installation guide.
Other sources of interference :
> To identify the source of the interference : disconnect the fuses
one by one (or switch off the equipment), until the car radio
starts working normally again (the interference disappears).
In this way, you can identify the source of the interference:
ashing lights, air conditioning, engine, fan motor, PTO, meter,
etc.
