6.2 Calibration adjustment
The following instructions apply to the O2NE+™, Safe-Ox+™, and any O2NE™ or Safe-Ox™
devices serviced on or after August 2014 (this date is printed on the product label).
• For older 10 year O2NE™ or 10 year Safe-Ox devices please follow the calibration
instructions found in: P0120-820-05 O2NE & Safe-Ox User Manual
• For standard O2NE™ devices please follow the calibration instructions found in the
AA1-810-18 - O2NE User Manual
• For standard Safe-Ox™ devices please follow the calibration instructions found in the
AA1-811-11 -Analox Safe-Ox User Manual
For O2NE+™, Safe-Ox+™ devices built before October 2016 please follow the calibration
instructions found in: P0120-820-10 O2NE+ & Safe-Ox+ User Manual (Please contact Analox
if manual is required).
Note: Gases used on the Ax O2NE+™/Safe-Ox+™ must be manufactured to a ±2% tolerance.
Note: For best performance the monitor should be powered and allowed to warm-up for
approximately 2 hours before calibration is performed. This will allow the whole instrument to
stabilise at its operating temperature.
6.2.1 Full calibration adjustment
A full calibration adjustment should be performed on the Ax O2NE+™/Safe-Ox+™ 2 hours after
initial installation or after a sensor replacement.
A proof test should be carried out at least every 12 months* thereafter (See section 6.4)
*Typical performance, with fixed temperature, humidity and pressure. Adjustment may be
required.
In order to perform a full calibration adjustment, you will need the following equipment:
1) Test Gas with 20.9% oxygen in nitrogen, +/-2% tolerance
2) O2NE+ and Safe-Ox+ 58/110L regulator kit (Comprising calibration gas bottle
regulator, flow adaptor and tubing).
Then follow the procedure:
1) Fit the flow adaptor to the O2 sensor and connect, with tubing, to the 20.9% O2
cylinder and open the regulator to allow for the flow of gas over the sensor.
