How to improve the venting of my Ancona Slim S3D?
    • B
      Brett RichardAug 5, 2025
To improve the venting of your Ancona Ventilation Hood, ensure the distance between the stove top and the bottom of the hood is between 24 and 30 inches (61 and 76.2 cm). Also, reduce the number of elbows and the length of the duct work, and verify that all joints are properly connected, sealed, and taped.

Why is the fan weak on my Ancona Slim S3D?
    • B
      Brittany SantanaAug 13, 2025
A weak fan in your Ancona Ventilation Hood could be due to a few reasons. First, check that the duct size used is at least 6 inches (15.2 cm) or 3 1/4 x 10 inches (25.4 x 8.3 cm); the range hood will not function efficiently with insufficient duct size. Also, check if the duct is clogged or if the damper unit (half-circular flange) is not installed correctly or opening properly. A tight mesh on a side wall cap unit might also restrict airflow.

Why does my Ancona Slim S3D Ventilation Hood vibrate when the blower is on?

Your Ancona Ventilation Hood might be vibrating when the blower is on because it hasn't been properly secured to the ceiling or wall.
