First, ensure the range hood is properly plugged in and that the power supply is turned on. Check the fuse to make sure it hasn't blown. Finally, verify that all electrical wirings are correctly connected.

Why is my Ancona WPPW430 Ventilation Hood not venting out properly?

Ensure the distance between the stove top and the bottom of the hood is within 24 and 30 inches. Also, reduce the number of elbows and the length of duct work. Check that all joints are properly connected, sealed, and taped.

Why is the blower or fan weak on my Ancona Ventilation Hood?

A weak blower or fan could be due to several reasons. Start by checking that the duct size used is at least 6 inches (15.2 cm) or 3 1/4 x 10 inches (25.4 x 8.3 cm). The range hood will not function efficiently with an insufficient duct size. Also, check if the duct is clogged or if the damper unit (half-circular flange) is not installed correctly or opening properly. A tight mesh on a side wall cap unit might also cause restriction to the air flow.
