To ensure your Ancona Ventilation Hood vents properly, verify that the distance between the stove top and the bottom of the hood is within 24 and 30 inches (61 and 76.2 cm). Why does the blower or fan seem weak on my Ancona Ventilation Hood?
    • L
      Lauren WoodsAug 10, 2025
If the blower or fan in your Ancona Ventilation Hood seems weak, verify that the duct size used is at least 6 inches (15.2 cm) or 3 1/4 x 10 inches (25.4 x 8.3 cm). The range hood will not function efficiently with an insufficient duct size. Additionally, check if the duct is clogged or if the damper unit (half-circular flange) is not installed correctly or opening properly. A tight mesh on a side wall cap unit might also restrict airflow.
