3.2.5. Opening the Cabinet - Mains Power Switch
Read the health and safety warnings in chapter 1.2 Health and Safety Warnings and
observe the following step-by-step procedure.
Do not operate the Node G without terminating the antenna connectors.
The antenna connectors may be terminated by connecting them to their
respective antennas or to a dummy load.
Only qualified personnel should carry out the electrical, mechanical,
commissioning, and maintenance activities that require the unit to be powered
on when open.
When opening the Node G do not damage the warranty labels on the internal
devices. The warranty is void if the seals are broken.
First remove the front cover plate by
loosening the four front cover screws.
The M5 socket head cap screws are
circle-marked in the figure to the left.
Do not remove those screws. When
they are loosened, the front cover plate
can be taken off.
To open the housing, unscrew the nine
M5 socket head cap screws (captive)
of the top cover.

) Note: Do not forget to reinstall the front cover afterwards to ensure safe
operation.
