7. Retrofit Options
When retrofitting options to a previously purcahsed MT1000A, options are marked with a model number -3

. (For example, the retrofit option
equivalent to the MU100010A-001 Up to 2.7G Dual Channel option is the MU100010A-301 Up to 2.7G Dual Channel Retrofit option.)
When retrofitting an option always specify one of the following media as well as the relevant option. All purchased -3
**
options will be copied as
a batch on the corresponding media.

Retrofit options are offered with an installer linked to the MT1000A or MU100010A serial number. Accordingly, when purchasing a retrofit
option, notify Anritsu about the serial number of the hardware in which the retrofit will be installed. (For example, when retrofitting the
MT1000A-303 WLAN/Bluetooth Connection Option, provide Anritsu with the MT1000A serial number; when retrofitting the MU100010A-301 Up
to 2.7G Dual Channel Retrofit Option, provide Anritsu with the MU100010A serial number.)

: The dual channel option must be purchased when upgrading from a single channel option to a dual channel option.
(For example, when upgrading a MU100010A unit in which the MU100010A-011 Ethernet 10G Single Channel Option is installed to dual channel, the
MU100010A-312 Ethernet 10G Dual Channel Retrofit Option must be purchased.)
