couplings. Check before
connecting and using the
collection equipment that it
is in good condition, well
maintained and fully
functional, and that the
electrical components are
sealed so that any released
refrigerant does not risk
ignition. Contact the
manufacturer in the event of
any problems or questions.
• Collected refrigerant must be
returned to the manufacturer
in the right kind of cylinders
and provided with the correct
waste and recycling labels.
Do not mix dierent types of
refrigerant in the same
collecting equipment, and
especially not in the same
cylinder. If compressors or
compressor oils are to be
removed the compressors
must be emptied to a level
that ensures there is no
ammable refrigerant left in
the oil before they are
returned to the
manufacturer. Electric
heating of the compressor
can take place to speed up
draining the oil, but no other
heating methods are
permissible. The oil must be
drained by a safe method.
