Overview

The ANZZI Electric Bidet Seat, available in models TL-AZEB101B, TL-AZEB103B, and TL-AZEB105B, is designed to enhance personal hygiene and comfort in the bathroom. This device integrates various features to provide a comprehensive bidet experience, including washing, drying, and temperature control, all managed through a remote control and side-mounted keys.

Function Description

The core function of the ANZZI Electric Bidet Seat is to provide a hygienic washing experience. It offers both rear and front (feminine) wash options, with adjustable water pressure and stream positions to suit individual preferences. The washing functions are activated when the user is seated, ensuring proper operation. After washing, a warm air dryer function is available to complete the cleaning process, with adjustable air temperature for comfort.

Temperature control is a significant aspect of this bidet seat. Users can adjust the water temperature for washing, the seat temperature for comfort, and the air temperature for drying. This customization allows for a personalized experience, catering to different sensitivities and environmental conditions. The seat also includes a heated seat feature, which can be adjusted to various temperature levels (Normal, Low, Medium, High).

For enhanced hygiene, the bidet seat incorporates a self-cleaning nozzle. This feature ensures that the nozzle is clean before and after each use. Additionally, a pre-wetting function for the inner bowl is available, which helps maintain cleanliness.

The device is equipped with a seat pressure sensor, which detects when a user is seated. This sensor is crucial for activating most of the bidet's functions, preventing accidental operation when the seat is unoccupied.

Specialized washing modes are also included:

  • Child Wash: This mode provides a gentle wash with low-level water pressure and temperature, specifically designed for children, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Massaging Wash: This function alternates the water stream's pressure to create a massaging effect during rinsing, offering a soothing experience.
  • Hot/Cold Spa: This mode alternates between hot and cold water temperatures during rinsing, providing a spa-like experience.

An energy-saving mode is integrated to reduce power consumption. When activated, the bidet seat automatically turns off certain heating functions when not in use and reactivates them when a user sits on the seat. A night light feature is also included, which can be turned on or off, providing subtle illumination in the dark.

Some models may include additional features such as deodorization and photocatalyst functions, which work to neutralize odors and maintain a fresh bathroom environment. An oscillating spray function is also available, which moves the nozzle back and forth for a wider cleaning area.

Usage Features

The ANZZI Electric Bidet Seat is designed for intuitive operation, primarily through a remote control and a set of side keys on the unit itself.

Remote Control Instructions:

The remote control provides comprehensive access to all functions.

  • Stop: This key immediately halts any active function. Holding it for 5 seconds (when not seated) turns the power ON/OFF.
  • Rear/Move: Initiates the rear wash. Pressing it again toggles reciprocating cleaning ON/OFF. The "Massage" key can activate massaging, and "Position" keys adjust the stream. Water and seat temperatures, as well as water pressure, can be adjusted using dedicated keys.
  • Bidet/Move: Initiates the front (feminine) wash. Similar to the rear wash, it allows for toggling reciprocating cleaning, activating massaging, adjusting stream position, water temperature, and water pressure.
  • Dryer: Starts the warm air dryer function. The air temperature can be adjusted using the "Air Temp" key.
  • Child Wash: Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate this gentle wash mode.
  • Water Pressure (+/-): Adjusts water pressure across three levels (except for Child Wash).
  • Position (Λ/V): Adjusts the nozzle's stream position (not available during reciprocating cleaning or drying, or in Hot/Cold Spa mode).
  • Massaging: Toggles the massaging effect ON/OFF during rinsing (except for Hot/Cold Spa and Child Wash).
  • Hot and Cold Spa: Initiates the alternating hot/cold water rinse. Pressing it again toggles reciprocating cleaning. Water temperature and pressure can be adjusted.
  • Energy Saver/NL: Activates energy-saving mode. Holding for 3 seconds toggles the night light ON/OFF.
  • Water Temp: Cycles through four water temperature settings (Normal, Low, Medium, High). Holding for 3 seconds toggles the inner bowl pre-wetting function ON/OFF.
  • Seat Temp: Cycles through four seat heating temperatures (Normal, Low, Medium, High).
  • Air Temp: Cycles through four air dryer temperatures (Normal, Low, Medium, High). Holding for 3 seconds toggles the deodorizer ON/OFF.
  • Nozzle Self-Wash: When not seated, press and hold the UP arrow key for 3 seconds to extend and self-wash the nozzle, allowing for manual cleaning with a brush. Press "Stop" to retract.

Side Key Operation:

The bidet seat also features side-mounted keys for basic functions:

  • Stop Key: Stops any active function. Holding for 3 seconds (when not seated) turns OFF the power; holding again turns ON the power. While seated, holding for 3 seconds starts the dryer function.
  • Front Wash Key: While seated, starts the front wash. Pressing again toggles reciprocating cleaning. Water temperature can be preset via the remote.
  • Rear Wash Key: While seated, starts the rear wash. Pressing again toggles reciprocating cleaning. Water temperature can be preset via the remote.

First Use Guidelines:

  1. Ensure the water supply valve is open and check for leaks.
  2. Verify the plug is securely connected and the indicator light is on. Press the "Test" button (light off), then "RESET" (light on). Do not use if this fails.
  3. Upon power ON, an audible beep will confirm activation.
  4. Lifting the cover may initiate a small water flow to pre-wet the inner bowl.
  5. When seated, a small amount of water will flow to wash the nozzle. Important: Most features require the user to be seated to operate.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the ANZZI Electric Bidet Seat.

General Cleaning:

  • Product Surface: Use a soft, damp cloth wrung out after soaking. For dirtier surfaces, a neutral detergent can be used. Avoid abrasive materials, brushes, or scouring pads.
  • Precautions: Always turn off the power before maintenance. Prevent water from entering the product's interior. Ensure detergent is thoroughly scrubbed off to prevent residue buildup.
  • Testing Detergents: Always test any detergent in an inconspicuous area first. Wipe and rinse surfaces immediately after applying detergent, and dry any excessive spray. Do not soak the surface with detergent.

Nozzle Cleaning:

  • To clean the nozzle, press and hold the UP arrow key on the remote for 3 seconds (when not seated). The nozzle will extend and begin flushing, allowing for manual cleaning with a brush. Press the "Stop" key to retract the nozzle. Do not use a steel brush.

Filter Screen Cleaning:

If water pressure is low, the filter screen may need cleaning:

  1. Close the supply stop.
  2. Remove the filter screen: Detach the bidet seat from the mounting plate, place it vertically, and use a screwdriver to remove the filter screen.
  3. Clean the filter screen: Use fresh water only; do not use detergent. Avoid squeezing the filter screen to prevent deformation.
  4. Reinstall: Reinstall the filter screen in the reverse order of removal, then turn on the supply stop. Check all connections for leaks.

Long-Term Preservation:

If the bidet seat will not be used for an extended period or if freezing temperatures are expected:

  1. Drain the water from the tank.
  2. Disconnect the power supply.
  3. Remove the batteries from the remote control.

Safety Precautions:

  • The bidet seat must be connected to a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) protected grounded socket. Do not remove the ground pin or use an adapter, as this can cause electric shock.
  • Any modifications to the bidet seat will void the warranty. Repairs or replacements of components should only be handled by qualified electricians or ANZZI-provided replacements.
  • Always cut off the power supply before maintenance.
  • Ensure the bathroom is well-ventilated to prevent moisture accumulation, which can lead to electrical failure.
  • The socket should be installed at least 19-11/16" (500mm) from the bathtub.
  • Avoid touching the power socket with wet hands.
  • Do not pour water, hot water, or detergent directly onto the bidet seat, power supply, or plug.
  • Keep the bidet seat away from flames or combustibles.
  • Do not insert fingers or objects into the heater outlet to prevent burns or electric shock.
  • Do not excessively pull or bend the water inlet hose. If damaged, replace it with a hose provided by ANZZI.
  • If a power failure occurs and the nozzle is not reset, do not manually push it back; it will reset itself when power is restored.
  • Discontinue use and turn off power and water supply if the product leaks, breaks, makes abnormal sounds, emits peculiar smells, or smokes.
  • Do not use the bidet while bathing. Avoid placing it where it can fall into water. If it falls into water, unplug it immediately.
  • Individuals with pacemakers or other auxiliary medical equipment should not use the device due to strong internal magnets.
  • Ensure proper grounding and voltage/power matching.
  • Review all local plumbing and building codes.
  • Maintain water supply pressure between 20PSI (138kPa) and 80PSI (552kPa). The supply pipe should be at least 1/2" copper.
  • Use only the water inlet hose supplied with the product.
  • Do not stand on the bidet seat or place heavy objects on it to prevent damage or injury.
  • Avoid exposing the seat to direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.
  • Do not install on moving vehicles.
  • Do not lean against the toilet lid.
  • Supervise children, the elderly, or disabled individuals using the toilet, and adjust temperatures appropriately.
  • Do not use while sleepy.
  • Be aware of low-grade burns from prolonged use of the heated seat; switch it to "OFF" if necessary, especially for vulnerable users.
  • The bidet seat requires fresh water only.
  • Unplug before removing the main unit.
  • ANZZI is not responsible for losses caused by improper installation or operation.
