Function Description

The AOC 24B2XHM is an LCD monitor designed for general computing tasks, offering a visual display for various applications. It supports both HDMI and D-Sub (VGA) input signals, making it compatible with a wide range of computers and devices. The monitor is equipped with an earphone output, allowing users to connect headphones directly to the display for audio. A key feature of this monitor is its Adaptive-Sync function, which works with compatible graphics cards (specifically AMD Radeon™ RX Vega, RX 500, RX 400, R9/R7 300, Pro Duo (2016), R9 Nano, R9 Fury, and R9/R7 200 series) to synchronize the display's refresh rate with the graphics card's frame rate. This helps to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, providing a smoother visual experience, particularly in gaming. Usage Features

The monitor offers a variety of adjustable settings to optimize the viewing experience. Users can control basic display parameters such as Contrast and Brightness, with ranges from 0-100. The "Eco mode" provides several preset options tailored for different usage scenarios, including Standard, Text, Internet, Game, Movie, Sports, and Reading modes, each designed to adjust display settings for optimal viewing in that specific context. Gamma correction is available with three presets (Gamma1, Gamma2, Gamma3) to fine-tune the display's luminance and color response. Similar to "Color Setup," "Game Setting" items are disabled when "HDR Mode" is active.

Position (0-100) for OSD placement, and OSD Transparence (0-100). A "Break Reminder" can be enabled or disabled to prompt users to take breaks after continuous work.

The "Extra" menu provides options for "Input Select" to manually choose the signal source, "Auto Config." for automatic picture adjustment (D-Sub models only), "Off Timer" (0-24 hours) to set a shutdown time, and "Image Ratio" to switch between Wide and 4:3 aspect ratios. "DDC/CI" support can be turned on or off, and a "Reset" option allows users to revert all settings to default, with an "ENERGY STAR®" option available for selective models.
