- A WSC aircraft under no supervision is to be fixed to the ground.
- To leave the ignition switch in ON position is prohibited!
- It is not allowed to touch a WSC aircraft or to turn the propeller even if under
supervision!
- To stay in the plane of the rotation of the propeller or in the danger zone of it is
prohibited!
- Before starting the engine control that all means serving the safety of the storage have
been removed
- Before starting the engine test whether the aircraft can be controlled, if moving the
control bar is obstructed, if the controlling devices can be reached and can be
activated.
- A test run of the engine can be carried out only with the aircraft fixed by break blocks
or by helpers holding it against rolling away.
- An engine can be started only with the pilot in the seat or when training the instructor is
in the seat.
- Except the controlling work on the carburetor no other adjustment of any part of the
motor is allowed if the motor is running.
- Note that elements of the muffler and parts of the motor can cause burnt injuries if they
still have not cooled back.
- Before starting the engine investigate whether there have remained on it parts, foreign
objects which may cause injuries or accidents if getting shaken off
- Any disorderly event occurs to the aircraft (the wind turned it upside down, landing was
hard, collision happened, etc.) or it can be suspected that damage may have occurred
the event is to be investigated. Until the failure discovered has not been corrected
flying the aircraft is not allowed. The event and the correction is to be documented in
the aircraft log book
- Never do any work on the aircraft without being completely convinced that either you
or the aircraft is fit for it.
- Do not run the motor on the ground unnecessarily.
- Repair and maintenance can be done only by a person entrusted with it, who is
licensed and type-rated to do it, disposing of the necessary knowledge and practice
- When dismantling certain parts remove the securing devices, (rings, wires, safety pins,
etc.), which are to be placed back professionally when finishing with the work.
- Control regularly the safety locking, (rings, pins, wires, etc.), safety cables, fuel lines,
filters, and electric wires.
- Register the documents of the aircraft, and keep them up to date.
- Save the aircraft when it is out of operation from getting damaged, polluted, from the
harmful effects of the weather (UV radiation, wind and precipitation), Keep the aircraft
clean, because this way damages can be noted easier.
