are removed. Then the wing is to be removed from the trike (safety hook, universal joint
bolts), the trike is to be pushed out from below the wing, and the wing stands on the A-
frame. Remove the struts, roll up the sail and fix it with the Velcro strips, then the sack of
the wing is to be pulled onto the rolled wing pack
Turn the wing backwards, the A-frame looks now upwards. Take off the handle stretching
the nose wires, dismantle the control bar, close the A-frame uprights, pull the upright-sack
onto it while saving the cables from getting kinked and installing all padding to the right
place. This way the wing does not get damaged neither when stored, nor when
transported.
7. Emergencies
7.1.1 Engine Failure on Take Off Run
If the engine fails on take off run before the ultralight has lifted off, proceed as
follows:
- Pull the control bar in to prevent the ultralight lifting from the ground and to use
the braking affect of the wing with the nose down,
- Under 15 km/h use the brake pedal to maintain the ground run direction, using
the brake at the same time;
- Switch off the ignition.
Restart is allowed only if the cause of the failure has been revealed and eliminated.
