Concerning Apollo C15 DD - Delta Jet 2 ā 912 WSC aircraft type there are several
methods to complete a partial dismantling.
1. If hangaring is planned but the room in the hangar is small the wing can be folded
up without dismantling it from the trike.
To do this remove the trike nose tube, bend the vertical pylon of the trike ahead
with the wing on it and place the control bar before the nose wheel. Do not loosen
the bolts of the universal joint. Dismantle the safety hook saving the crossbar from
moving ahead and fix it either with the safety hook or with any appropriate string.
Pull out the cross battens, the D-sticks (through the zipped openings on the lower
sail) and all the other battens. The handle stretching the crossbar backwards is to
be dismantled, the leading edges are to be brought together to side-by-side
position, roll up the sail and fix the resulting package with the Velcro strips. The
wing is to be raised back, the vertical pylon is to be fixed, and the nose tube is to
be put into its place and is to be fixed. Tie the control bar to the vertical pylon with
the harness belt in order that the control bar should not press the nose tube.
2. The wing can be packed according to method 1. But the control bar is to be fixed
first, the vertical trike pylon is to be left in vertical position, the wing is to be folded
up in this position. To do that a small ladder is to be used.
3. Dismantling it first from the trike and putting it into its sack can pack the wing. The
following steps are the same as in method 1, until all battens, D-sticks and cross battens
