UNLOCKING/LOCKING THE

GLOVE/TOOL KIT COMPARTMENT

COVER

u Position the vehicle on the stand, see

page 77 (PLACING THE VEHICLE ON

THE STAND).

u Introduce the key (1) in the lock.

u Turn the key (1) counterclockwise, raise

and withdraw the glove/tool kit

compartment cover (2) from behind.

The tail of the vehicle features a

convenient glove / tool kit compartment,

which is accessed by removing the

compartment cover (2).

NOTE Before lowering and locking the

glove/tool kit compartment cover (2), make

sure that you have not left the key in the

glove/tool kit compartment.

To lock the glove/tool kit compartment

cover (2):

u Introduce the lower front projections in

the relevant recesses on the rear part of

the fairing.

u Position the glove/tool kit compartment

cover in its saddle and press it, so that

the lock snaps.

WARNING

Before leaving, make sure that the

glove/tool kit compartment cover (2) is

correctly locked.
