10 | CHILDPROOF LOCK
• LIGHT INDICATOR STATUS
• If the childproof lock is unlocked, the indicator is o. In standby mode, it lights up dim-
med at 50 % brightness.
• NOTES
• If you want to withdraw warm/hot (BABY, TEA, HOT) water, the lock must be released. The
lock is released by briey pressing the symbol once for approx. 3 seconds. (The childproof
lock is not activated for ROOM water).
• After water has been withdrawn, the childproof lock is automatically reactivated after
approx. 60 seconds. If you want to activate the childproof lock yourself, press the symbol
again for approx. 3 seconds after having taken the water. That way, you activate the child-
proof lock yourself (i.e., press and hold the childproof lock button for approx. 3 seconds to
cancel or set the childproof lock function).
• If BABY, TEA, or HOT is pressed without rst unlocking, the childproof lock button ashes
once to prompt unlocking.
• If the childproof lock is pressed and held and you hear a beep twice, the childproof lock is
completely deactivated.
