Do you have a question about the AR Blue Clean AR116 and is the answer not in the manual?
Follow all safety tips and instructions to avoid injury and property damage. Become familiar with controls and pressure release.
The unit has a GFCI for shock reduction. Never use extension cords, as they defeat GFCI effectiveness and increase electrocution risk.
Use two hands when first using the spray gun. Point gun safely. Turn off unit and release pressure after use. Never spray flammable liquids or near combustible dust.
Avoid contact of pressure hose with sharp objects. Use power washer specific detergents only. Protect skin and eyes from detergent exposure.
Store indoors to prevent freezing damage. If storing outdoors, use Pump Saver. Never use hot water; it damages the pump.
Servicing requires qualified personnel. Replacement parts must be identical. Product may be marked with 'Double Insulation' or a symbol.
Screw the high pressure hose clockwise onto the unit. Connect the other end to the spray gun by inserting the metal tip until it clicks.
Aim spray gun away and push lock button left to right. Squeeze trigger to ensure it's locked. Leave in 'locked' position when not in use.
Insert lance or detergent bottle into the spray gun end. Push together and turn clockwise to lock. Use safety lock when changing components.
Control spray pattern and intensity by twisting nozzle. Use for sweeping leaves or debris from flat surfaces or curbing.
Fill with formulated detergent/cleaner. Ratio of water to detergent is 10:1. Apply under low pressure.
Install adapter and filter by screwing into water inlet. Attach collar to hose and connect to adapter. Water flows when connected.
Intermittent motor run when trigger is not squeezed indicates pump priming. Turn off if idle for over five minutes.
Clean and lubricate o-rings on lance/bottle bayonet ends. Periodically clean the screen filter in the clear adapter.
Clogged nozzles reduce pressure and cause pulsing. Turn off unit/water, relieve pressure, and use cleaning wire or paper clip.
Vary spray pattern, angle, and distance to control impact force. Never use a narrow stream on soft surfaces.
Use wide fan spray, four to five feet away at a 45-degree angle. Adjust pattern and angle for optimum efficiency.
Use power washer detergents with 10:1 water-to-detergent ratio. Apply to dry surfaces for best results. Rinse from bottom up.
Turn off unit, unplug cord, turn off water. Drain excess water and pressure. Disconnect hoses. Do not run pump dry.
Remove lance/detergent bottle. Flush bottle and nozzle head with fresh water to prevent clogging.
Store in an area free of freezing temperatures and heat. Freezing damages the pump unless Pump Saver is used.
Follow storage instructions. Protect surface. Wear eye protection. Turn off unit, disconnect hoses, shake bottle, screw valve into water inlet, turn on unit briefly.
Check power connection, GFCI reset button, and outlet grounding. Try another outlet if issues persist. Contact customer service if unresolved.
Ensure rubber sleeve is down on hose fitting. Wiggle, twist, or pull down. Cut sleeve end if necessary, but avoid puncturing hose.
Check water source and unclog nozzle. Test by removing lance and spraying directly from gun.
Ensure an o-ring is present at the metal tip of the high pressure hose. O-ring kits are available for purchase.
Press spray gun and lance together, turn counter-clockwise to remove. Push assembly down to loosen. Use soapy water or lubricant if needed.
This is normal. Unit primes the pump and waits for trigger. Water sensor activates motor when water flows.
One-year bumper-to-bumper warranty against defects for consumer use. Not transferable. Void if used in rental or commercial applications.
Obtain an RMA Number by calling or emailing. Returns without an RMA Number will be unauthorized. Purchaser pays freight costs.
