How to fix AR Blue Clean Pressure Washer that won't turn on?
    • J
      jonathanleeAug 2, 2025
First, ensure the electrical cord is plugged into a grounded 120-volt outlet without using an extension cord. If the plug doesn't fit, try turning it upside down. If it still doesn't fit, the outlet may not be properly grounded. Try another outlet or consult an electrician. Next, press the reset button on the GFCI power box, looking for the red contact. If the red contact isn't visible, unplug and replug the unit, then press reset again. Also, make sure the power switch on the pressure washer is turned ON. Squeeze the trigger and try again. If the issue persists, try plugging into a different outlet and repeat the steps.

Why does my AR Blue Clean Pressure Washer turn on for 2 seconds then shut off?
    • R

Your power washer likely has a Total Stop System (TSS). It turns on briefly to prime the pump when you connect the water, high-pressure hose, spray gun, and spray lance, and the power switch is on. It then shuts off until you squeeze the spray gun trigger. Squeezing the trigger starts water flow, which the water sensor detects, automatically turning the pump back on. The water will then be under high pressure.

Why is my AR Blue Clean Pressure Washer leaking at the hose connection?

Water leakage at the high-pressure hose connection to the spray gun is often due to a missing o-ring. Ensure there is an o-ring at the end of the metal tip of the HP hose. O-Ring Kits are available online at www.arblueclean.com or call Customer Service at 866-235-5112 to place an order.

What to do if the high-pressure hose won't connect to my AR Blue Clean Pressure Washer spray gun?

If the high-pressure hose won't connect to the spray gun, the rubber sleeve covering the fitting at the end of the HP hose has likely slipped up toward the metal tip. Wiggle, twist, and/or pull the rubber sleeve down until the entire tip is visible plus an 1/8” of the steel fitting below the tip. Now try to insert the hose tip into the spray gun. It should “click” into place and will not come out until the hose is released by pushing in the lever on the underside of the gun. If you are unable to move the sleeve down, cut away the sleeve with a sharp knife.
