How to start my Ariens Sno-Thro Platinum SHO 24 Snow Blower when the engine won't start?

If your Ariens Snow Blower engine won't start, there are several possible causes. First, make sure the engine key is in the run position. Next, check that the choke is on, and the fuel valve is open. Ensure the fuel tank isn't empty and that the engine is primed if it's cold (press the primer bulb three times). If the engine is flooded, turn the choke control knob to the off position and try starting again. If these steps don't work, the ignition switch starter circuit may not be functioning, or the engine itself could be faulty, requiring a visit to your dealer or an authorized service center. Also, check for disconnected spark plug wire or faulty spark plug. Another reason may be build up of dirt and residue around governor / carburetor.
