To get a tasty coffee it is necessary to keep the appliance clean. 3erform the cleaning and des
caling regularly as described in the Cleaning the machine paragraph.
Always use fresh, clean water.
With ¿ner milling richer and fullbodied coffees are obtained. A regular grind, will require more
coffee to get the usual taste that is made from ¿nely milled mixtures.
Keep the coffee powder in a cool, dry place. Seal opened containers and leave them in the
refrigerator.

+eated coffee does not taste good. The coffee reaches its best taste immediately after preparation.
The presence of small drops of oil on the coffee surface can be caused by prolonged use of
toasted mixtures: clean regularly.

Any operation requiring disassembly of parts must be performed by an Authorized Service Center.

After each use, remove the coffee ¿lter from the ¿lter holder. 5emove the coffee residues from the ¿l
ter. 5inse the ¿lter with fresh, clean water. Take out the ¿lter holder and wash it with hot soapy water.

To avoid breaking the jug, lift it gently. Avoid knocking the jug against other objects: danger
of glass breakage. When ¿lling the jug with water to avoid hitting the tap.
5inse the jug with hot water and soap. Wash the coffee residues from the jug lid using a brush.
Clean the jug using a damp soft cloth to avoid damaging the glass surface. Do not use metal scour
ing pads or other abrasive materials.
Tank cleaning
It is advisable to periodically clean inside the tank with a sponge or damp cloth.
