Operator user level operation
The operator user level is protected by password security and is reserved for
authorized users who have been trained to operate the control panel for control
and maintenance purposes. The default operator user password is 2222.
Those tasks included in the topic “Public user level operation” on page 18 are
also available at this user level.
This user level lets you:
• Reset the control panel
• Stop or restart fire sounders
• Stop or restart extinguishing sounders
• Disable or enable sounders
• Disable or enable a fire sounders delay
• Test sounders
• Disable or enable fire routing
• Disable or enable a fire routing delay
• Test fire routing
• Disable or enable a zone
• Test a zone
• Disable or enable the extinguishing event
• Disable other extinguishing devices
• Test other extinguishing devices
• Set the manual-only mode of operation
Resetting the control panel
Note: Investigate all alarms and system faults before resetting the control panel.
To reset the control panel and clear all current system events, press the Reset
button. System events that have not been resolved continue to be highlighted
when the reset process ends.
The Reset button is disabled when the control panel enters the extinguishing
activation state (the Reset LED flashes to indicate the disablement). The control
panel cannot be reset at this time and the Reset button may remain disabled for
up to 30 minutes. Consult your system installer for the time configured. When the
Reset LED is steady the control panel can be reset.
