Common Faults
H C
Problem: “Blend temperature rises when system is in zero demand...”
Check blend circuit ow rate.
Flow rate is less than 19 l/m. Reset circuit ow
rate and check for the following:
Air locks
Blocked strainers
Closed valves
Pump failure
Water pressure
Make sure supply pressures are balanced.
Make sure mixed return is owing correctly to
hot water supply inlet.
Checkvalves
Check circuit to make sure checkvalves are
correct positioned and operating normally.
(See Piping Diagrams on pages 12 - 15).
Check mixed return temperature.
Minimum recirculation loop temperature loss
= 1°C
DRV40 display errors

to be displayed during this problem. For

If any other error message is displayed see DRV40 Display Errors on pages 58-60.
