Patterns: Startup Sequence
The following table shows the light patterns during each phase of the startup se-
quence.
Note: The DS and US indicators flash yellow during startup, and turn green if
the Wideband Cable Modem establishes an ultra-high speed connection.
The Link indicator may be yellow or green, as determined by the table
on the previous page.
Using the Reset Button
Use the Reset button, on the back of the Wideband Cable Modem, to reset the
modem as if you power cycled the unit. You may need to reset the Wideband Cable
Modem if you are having problems connecting to the Internet.
Use a pointed non-metallic object to press this button. The drawing to the left
shows the location of the Reset button.
The Reset button is recessed to prevent accidental resets.
