2.4.2 Using Load Control Ring
• Designed to provide a quick easily
attachable sliding ring for securing
o-set lift and Tag/Trail Line systems.
• To use, attach your Fast Break-QRD
or other load control system directly
to the ring.
• Ring can also be used as an
attachment point for restraint systems
when ying combative or violent
victims.
2.4 OPTIONAL FEATURES
2.4.1 Quick Pick Conguration
• In the event speed is
paramount to achieving a safe
and successful extraction, the
ARV-QC can be used in the
quick pick conguration.
• Utilizing this method is at the
discretion of the trained rescue
specialist. It is understood that
by using this conguration, the
safety Key-Lock system is being
bypassed.
• For instruction on how to
properly attach the ARV-QC to
your hoist or short haul line in
this conguration, please refer
to Section 2.5.
