3.0 ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS
The ARV-QC is compatible with a variety of additional products and safety equipment. It is the
responsibility of the user to learn and understand the operational requirements, strength ratings, and
airworthiness limitations of all equipment not listed in this product manual that is used in conjunction
with the Air Rescue Vest Quick Connect.

3.1 ARS 2-Up Hoist assist device
• Designed to clean up the hoist-hook human interface by allowing
2 separate yet compact attachment points in a lightweight highly
engineered system.
• CNC’d from aircraft grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the 2-Up hoist
device yields at an astounding 54kn (MBS).
• Constructed with two 30 kN rated, DMM captive eye, 3-stage auto-lock
carabiners with ANSI rated gates, both sewn onto individual 30 kN(MBS)
webbing legs.
• Using the 2-Up in place of a carabiner can prevent dynamic roll out from
hoist hook.
3.2 Human External Load Anchor (HELA) Rigs
• Integrated load sharing plate which allows for
increased separation between short haulers
and a more comfortable ight.
Integrated anchor point for easily ying
equipment at a much more manageable
height as opposed to attaching directly to the
ring.
• Built to the standard ARS 10:1 safety margin
and comes in two industry specic versions.
3.3 Fast Break (Quick Release Device)
• Small, lightweight, intuitive, Controlled Break-Away System for tag and
O-Set Lift control systems used in helicopter operations.
• 2-stage auto locking carabiner provide ease of one handed on/o.
• One-handed, manual quick release for jettisoning control system under
load.
• Integrated internal, Controlled Break-Away System separation at 400 lbs
