2.5.4 HOIST - Attaching ARV-QC to the ARS 2-Up Leg
• Limiting leg twist, attach one 2-Up
3-stage auto-lock carabiner directly
into the large eye of the Key-Lock Lift
System.
• Limiting leg twist, attach the second
2-Up 3-stage auto-lock carabiner
directly to the attachment point on
the rescuer’s harness.
• Verify the hoist hook and all
carabiners are locked and properly
pre-loaded before lift.
2.5.5 HOIST - Attaching ARV-QC to the ARS 2-Up (Quick Pick Conguration)
• Limiting leg twist, attach one 2-Up
3-stage auto-lock carabiner directly into
the large eye of both Key-Lock plates
and the large eye of the tail lock plate.
• Verify the hoist hook and all carabiners
are locked and properly pre-loaded
before lift.
