2.3 SECURING THE KEY-LOCK SYSTEM
2.3.1 ALIGN - The Key-Lock plates
• In order to secure the ARV-
QC Key-Lock plates, the two
centering pins on the left
plate must be aligned with the
corresponding holes on the
right plate.
• When both pins are aligned
the plates will sit ush together.
2.2.2 Victim arm placement
• If already wrapped, the
rescuer can easily help the
victim pull their arms through
the armholes by guiding their
arm out via their elbow.
• Once a victim’s arms are
outside the ARV-QC they
should be instructed to place
their hands on the sti webbing
above the attachment point as
to avoid accidental injury from
hardware when loading the
device.
