The AsantéTalk may be connected to an Ethernet
Switch or Ethernet Hub.

AsantéTalk does not support auto-negotiation.
Ethernet Switches or Hubs must be able to turn
off or disable this feature for proper operation.
Configure your iMac for Ethernet Communi-
cation

Set your AppleTalk control panel to show “Con-
nect via: Ethernet.”

Set your TCP/IP control panel to:
Modem if you connect to the Internet using
the iMac’s modem.
Ethernet if you connect to the Internet using
your Local Area Network.
